With a career spanning over a decade, Mr. Meyer has amassed a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship, investment, and executive management. His expertise extends across diverse sectors, including early-stage growth companies, multi-unit consumer businesses, domestic and international franchising, finance, and commercial real estate. Mr. Meyer has been a key driver behind JLM Financial Partner’s expansion and strategic positioning across its many verticals.
Since joining JLM in 2014, Mr. Meyer has played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s investments and strengthening its financial partnerships. As Managing Partner, he leads capital-raising initiatives and provides ongoing strategic investment oversight to JLM’s portfolio companies in the United States and Asia. In 2021, he co-founded JLM Living, where he serves as the Chief Real Estate Officer (CREO), helping spearhead the firm’s growth across the Southeast and Southwest United States, positioning the company as an emerging leader in the Build-to-Rent sector.
Mr. Meyer is an active Board Advisor or Member for JLM’s U.S. and Asian portfolio companies, ensuring long-term growth and value creation. He played a significant role in JLM’s highly successful 2019 exit from United PF Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchisee with 170+ locations, where he served on the Real Estate Committee. He is one of the primary JLM partners responsible for mergers and acquisitions opportunities (M&A), as well as franchise partnerships. He also oversees the company’s investor relations team, legal counsel, and financial partners. Beyond JLM, Mr. Meyer is actively involved in an Austin, Texas-based single-family office, leveraging his experience to support investment and growth strategies.
Mr. Meyer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University and graduated with honors from the Jack Welch Management Institute, where he earned his MBA. He has been a licensed Texas real estate agent since 2014. Mr. Meyer is also an active member of the Austin Tiger 21 chapter.
Based in Austin, Texas, he and his wife, Morgan, are raising their young son, Cade, embracing the adventure of parenthood while navigating the fast-paced world of investments and real estate.
